As we already know Kanchana 2 is the third version of much liked Muni series and plot of the movie is easily predictable. A very important thing to consider while before booking ticket is about how it is narrated.

Raghava Lawrence plays camera man role in a TV channel with of bunch of interesting colleagues like Taapsee, Mayilsamy, Manobala, and Madhumitha. As usual they went for their business meet, one day they all are forced to enter into the haunted house unintentionally. They returned to their home after witnessing a horror unfolds of their eyes. After in few days, both Raghava and Taapsee find some spirits seeking vengeance. Who are those ghosts and what they really want is all about the story.

Performance:

Raghava Lawrence literally steals the show all the way of this film. He played very crucial role and it’s perfectly suited for himself. As usual kovai sarala her best comical role and Taapsee also did her job very fair. Nithya Menon has played very special character in this movie and reveling the character will spoil the movie interesting while watching in theatre. Watch her performance in cinema hall. She damn sure creates an high impact even though her character is very short lived. Comedy is another important part in this movie, which all comedians utilized their job very well.

Technicalities:

Sound effects and visual effects are better than its prequels and it gives the superb experience to the audience. Raghava Lawrence has come with interesting screenplay and he knows how to give better screen output for his audience. However, the second half is somewhat lengthy and flashback sequences are much dramatized. Climax also looks an incomplete one. Music by Leon James, C. Sathya, S. Thaman and Ashwamithra has delivered some good background score to this movie. Cinematography by Rajavel Olhiveeran is precise and made justice for this horror genre.

Overall Comment: Kanchana 2 is definitely entertaining movie

Verdict: 3/5
