We all know that Lakshmi Menon had lost all her opportunities in the film industry after the movie ‘Rekka’ with Vijay Sethupathi. This is because, she went Kerala to continue her college studies where she gained weight and her posture doesn’t look like a heroine. Apart from this everyone felt that Lakshmi Menon is the main reason for ‘Rekka’ not reaching the expected success.
Even, in the past days there was a news that Lakshmi Menon is doing a project with the same Rekka crew, but unfortunately she had lost that project too. She was replaced by ‘Balle Vellaiya Theva’ fame Tanya Ravichandran to play a lead role with Vijay Sethupathi in the movie ‘Karuppan.’
But now, to spice up her boring life, she had got an exciting opportunity to prove her again in the Tamil industry. Yes, Kumki heroine is going to play a lead role in Prabhu Deva’s next, ‘Yung Mung Sung’ which is directed by debutant director Arjun. She is going to stare as a village belle and Bharadhanatiyam natiyam dancer in this movie. Catherine Tresa was first chosen to work in this role, but later the crew decided to replace her by Lakshmi Menon, director disclosed it in a recent interview.
Apart from all, director Thankar Bachan, RJ Balaji are starring in this movie. The crew expects that the shooting will commence by the end of this month. Everyone is eagerly waiting to see her with Prabhu Deva for the first time.
