HERE IS THE SAITHAN MOVIE REVIEW
After the months of eager waiting, Vijay Antony’s Saithan had charmed 1300 big screens on December 1, 2016.The question ‘who is jayalakshmi?’ had already caught everyone’s attention. It is a psychological thriller which is reportedly based on Stieg Larsson’s Novel, “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. The prior promotional works for the film before the release helped a lot which clearly reflect in box office collections.
In simple, Saithan discloses regarding a man who perceive sound of a voice which show the way for him to investigate about the unsettled murder. The story spin around as a secrecy between his past and present life. Revealing more about this story will definitely spoil the fun that is filled in watching the mystery movies.
Saithan is something very different from Vijay Antony’s earlier works as it is a blend of suspense and crime. At some place, you may think that the film is losing its track but while watching you will forget to flicker your eyes even once because of the story and will keep you at the edge of the seat by its mesmerizing screenplay.
A great script makes the complicated story to get easily understand, but the cleverness of the script have failed in better execution in this department. On the whole, execution could have been done better than this. Everything goes better until the mystery is opened, but once it is known it get lost in sightless path and this is because of poor execution.
Noticing the skill, BGM is very impressive and as well sets the mood to swing around the excitement. But, at some part songs look unwanted. To elaborate in detail about the starrers, Vijay Antony is showing improvement in every films, Arundhathi Nair also have starred with upright presentation. YGee Mahendiran and Charu Haasan are extremely skillful and are used right.
The way in which the director had hoisted the movie from the point of mystery to moral have given the uniqueness to Saithan. The first half engages everyone like a maze that makes everyone to sit at the tip of the seat by giving so many twists but in the second half reduces the fun due to its dull flashback and normal climax. Totally, it’s worth watching the movie.
