Achamindri Tamil Movie Review
The movie starts with the murder of the city collector Thalai Vasal Vijay by personal secretary of Educational minister Radha Ravi. The reason behind the slaughter is for exposing a corruption in educational institution.
Meanwhile, the hero of the movie Shakthi (Vijay Vasanth) along with his friends (Karunas and Devadharshini) are introduced. Shakthi is a charming thief with kind heart. He falls in love with Malar (Srushti Dange) at the first sight. She is an youngster who is very caring for the education of poor children. Suddenly, Shakthi entered into a trouble when he pickpockets from a local gangster.
In the meantime, an upright cop named Sathya (Samuthrakani) had been transferred to the city where he meets up her Ex- girlfriend Shruthi (Vidya) and came to know that she was not married yet. They finally opened their heart to one another and fixed a date for marriage. But she was killed by someone before the marriage.
The real chasing of the killer start from here. Circumstances made Shakthi and Sathya to meet each other and join the hands to identify the real culprit. It finally lead them to Rajalakshmi (Saranya Ponvannan) who is the millionaire head of the group of educational institution. Though the film is made to reveal the money minded attitudes of private school and the troubles of government school, director Rajapandi used usual commercial elements, twists and turns.
After the hit film ‘Ennamo Nadakudhu’ in 2014, all the three Vijay Vasanth, director Rajapandi and the production team VVV records handed together in this movie and it has been already advertised as the film that deals with the educational system. The team already increased the expectation about the movie and made everyone to wait eagerly to know whether the magic is repeated.
Samudhra Kani as usual gave his best just like the movie ‘Visaranai’ and as well Radha Ravi proved his resourcefulness by playing the role perfectly. Srushti looks pretty, adorable and intelligent. For the first time, Saranya Ponvannan had came out of her ease zone as a mom and played in negative role and as usual she steals everyone’s heart with her performance. Vijay Vasanth fits well for the story line and worked hard for the action sequences.
Premji had done a wonderful job from the title score and BGM’s. But unfortunately, songs are not up to the mark and look like a fillers in the gap. Both the work of the cinematographer and editor is awesome. Stunts are really admirable in all chases and escapes. The car chasing series that takes place in the second half takes the special mention. Overall, it’s a message oriented action entertainer movie.
